An oceanfront house on Florida’s Amelia Island is listing for $15 million, making it the priciest listing on the market in the area, according to Joe Cutajar of ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, one of the listing agents.
The seller is healthcare entrepreneur Thomas Weldon. Mr. Weldon said he bought the land in the Amelia Island Plantation resort community for $2.35 million in 2002 and spent about $8 million building the house, which has been his primary residence since then.
