This is a first in Lyon and it takes place at the Part-Dieu shopping center. World-renowned brand John Reed Fitness is opening a 2nd floor gym on September 15, 2022. Here’s what to expect.

Nothing to do with Basic Fit and company, this training room is of a whole new kind, unheard of in the capital of Gaul. It offers a mix of fitness and music in a place with a unique design, far from traditional rooms.

Members have access to a sauna, a relaxation area and a bar. Drinks are chargeable, except for those who opt for “member” benefits. DJ sets are organized in a nightclub type atmosphere with sports lessons.

With 3,200 m2, the place is huge. Here, John Reed Fitness promises that athletes will not step on each other, as may be the case in Lyon in some gyms during peak hours.

Here’s everything this new upscale venue has to offer:

• Cardio, free weights & machines • Functional area & indoor cycling • Group workout and live classes • Five Express for fascia training and mobility

There will be a space with about forty machines, all doubled. The free weight area, with the dumbbells, will have around ten weight benches.

Until September 15 and the opening, presales are available with a subscription at 45 euros per month for one year. Then it will increase to 60 euros per month during the first weeks of opening.

500 people have already opted for presales and the John Reed Fitness room is expecting 1,000 members by the end of September.
