Could your state’s most luxurious home be just down the block?
You might be surprised by where your state’s priciest home is hiding out—and what it looks like! After taking a deep dive into Point2 Homes’ just-released report on The Most Expensive Home for Sale in Every U.S. State, we sure were. From a $170 million beachside compound with its own park and docks to a $9 million 8-bathroom Colonial on a whopping 39 acres, these are not your typical real estate listings.
To pinpoint the most expensive homes currently for sale in all 50 states and DC, Point2 analysts dove into listings in their own database, via national and local brokerages as well as verified luxury listings in cities from edge-to-edge of each state. The result: The 51 jaw-dropping properties below (one state had a tie).
“They’re astonishing homes with equally astonishing price tags,” Point2 pros say, and we have to agree. Each one is living proof that the luxury residence market certainly isn’t calming down, even amidst all of the pandemic’s economic ups and downs. (Sales of “super-luxury homes,” listed for $50 million or more, jumped 35% in the U.S. from 2020 to 2021, according to data from the appraiser Miller Samuel.)
Take a tour of all of these epic homes, listed from most expensive to the biggest “steal.” While you’re at it, score some major design and decor inspiration. We’re calling out the features in each that really caught our eye so you won’t miss them!
